A lot of engagements with own (Body&Soul, Angelvoice) and other bands alternate with theatre productions of renowned theatres, performances with world-famous artists in TVshows like "Wetten Dass...?" or "Verstehen Sie Spass?" etc. Composing and arranging add to the work of the allrounder on stage or in the studio.
For some time Holger Engel tours besides his own projects with the „Janis- Joplin Tribute Show“ and the „Robbie Williams Tribute Show“ through Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Ute Ziemer - vocals

The „exceptional singer“ (Süddeutsche Zeitung) with a „sophisticated technique“ (Die Welt) sings now at the big concert halls of the world, like „Concertgebouw Amsterdam“, „Kongreß Zürich“, „KKL Luzern“ and „Gewandhaus Leipzig“. Concert tours led her also to Rome, Hongkong, Canada and the United States. Furthermore, Ute Ziemer contributed to numerous world premiers of contemporary composers as well as to CD- and television-productions for the „ORF“, the „SWR“ and the „Bayerischen Rundfunk“.

Klaus Dusek - bass

He toured together with award-winning orchesrtras through Switzerland, Israel, the USA and Dubai. Info

Meanwhile „Classic meets Jazz“ - the motto of „Swinging Mallets II“ became an everyday occurence for Roland Härdtner and Holger Engel, the creators of this CD. The differences in their education – Engel studied at the „Staatlichen Musikhochschule Heidelberg-Mannheim“ jazz and popular music, Härdtner passed his classical education at the „Musikhochschule Düsseldorf“ with honour – did not only lead to a strained cooperation, but also to this second CD. Both musicians illustrate again their delight while playing different musical styles and show what they like the most: best entertainment with sophisticated music.
